Our History

Founded in 1955, Goedicke’s Custom Framing & Fine Art Supply has been a pillar of Casper’s art community for nearly 70 years. Located in the historic Turner-Cottman Building, Goedicke’s was originally established by Fred Goedicke, a master framer dedicated to preserving and showcasing artwork with expert craftsmanship. Over the years, the business expanded to include high-quality fine art supplies, ensuring that Casper’s artists had access to the tools they needed to create.

Now under the ownership of Erin Kershaw and Sarah Burman, Goedicke’s remains artist-owned and operated, continuing its long tradition of craftsmanship, expertise, and dedication to the creative community. With a renewed focus on museum-quality custom framing, professional-grade fine art materials, and artist support, Goedicke’s is evolving to meet the needs of both established and emerging artists in Wyoming.

For nearly seven decades, Goedicke’s has been more than a shop—it has been a trusted resource, a creative hub, and a place where artists, collectors, and art lovers come together. We are honored to carry forward this legacy and look forward to shaping the next chapter in Casper’s artistic story.

We thank all of you for your 70 years of support and we greatly look forward to 70 more!!
