This series is perfect to get you knitting and have a new lifelong hobby!

Level 1: Join me while I teach you the basics of knitting. We will talk about the tools you need and work on knitting, purling, Casting On and Binding off. The goal of this class is to introduce you to the building blocks that Knitting is based on and you will go home ready to work on a simple scarf and read for level 2!

Level 2: This level is designed to introduce you to knitting in the round. We will work on Casting On, joining in the round, ribbing, and binding off. You will leave class with a headband or cup cozy for you to be able to use. The skills you gain here are precursors for hats and socks! Skills need to take the class: How to cast on, Knit stitch, Purl stitch.

Level 3: This class is to help you make a hat. HOMEWORK: Follow pattern to start your hat and bring it about half way done. This will build perfect on top of level 2 and will help you to learn how to finish a hat. Skills required: Knitting in the round, joining, ribbing, and knit/purl stitch.

Supplies- Bulky/chunky yarn (I can come down and pick out some good choices and/or help you create a beginner kit), size 10 round needle (16 inch length), size 10 round 32 inch length or size 10 Double point needles.

You will be able to purchase your supplies at Goedickes before the class.

Price: $30 per class (not including supplies)
