Our Space
Goedickes Custom Framing & Art Supply is Casper’s second oldest business, having opened in 1955. In 2013, Claire Marlow bought the art focused business, remodeling the space and ensuring the focus remained on high quality art materials, superior quality custom picture framing and customer service focused business practices. In 2014, Claire opened Scarlow’s Gallery in the adjoining space at 122 W 2nd St. The gallery has offered a refined and professional space for regional and national artists to showcase their works and talents. Seeking to complete a full circle business plan, Claire opened Scarlow’s Art & Coffee inside the gallery in 2019.
Scarlow’s Art & Coffee was created through the appreciation of tradition, quality and inspiration. The space at 122 W 2nd Street offers a sense tranquility, refinement and beauty most easily appreciated when given time to sit and enjoy. The addition of our coffee bar, serving illy coffee that is focused on cherishing the quality of life and art, offers a collaboration between the simple and appreciated aspects of life, art, tradition and community.
Scarlow’s Gallery
Scarlow's Gallery opened in October 2014, soon after the completion of the Goedicke's remodel. When starting the business, the potential of a 2,500 square foot retail space to the west of Goedicke's was unlimited. From the very beginning, it had to be a space for art, artists and sharing the creative visions of not only Casper's local community but also the surrounding states. With a beautiful skylight, cottonwood bar, high ceilings, and a loft, it was time to make the space shine. With a lot of elbow grease and determination, Scarlow's Gallery opened in 2014 with the intention to benefit Casper's downtown and artist community.
Event Rentals
The gallery space is available for events of all sizes. A beautiful handmade, cottonwood bar, basic kitchen tools, loft with 2 story ceilings, 100 year old wood floors and a breathtaking skylight, Scarlow's is great for parties, fundraisers, private events, weddings, concerts and more! Rates vary according to group size and event time, but often average at $300. Please call or email with questions!
