Join us for a celebration of Day of the Dead (Dia de Los Muertos) at the Nicolaysen Art Museum on November 7, 2015 5:30-8pm. Enjoy an informative lecture on the history of this rich Mexican tradition from Casper College’s Eric Atkinson. Enjoy work from local and national artists celebrating Dia de Los Muertos. Watch dance performances by the Casper College Dance Program. View offrendas (altars) created by local high schools, artists and art classes. Take part in a community offrenda where you can take a moment to remember those who have passed. The first 200 guests will even take home their own piece of art by local artist Maria Rose. Food and drinks provided by Paleteria Y Panaderia Santa Fe and Qdoba with a cash bar. Five dollar admission fee.
